Lou, formerly known as Mr. Shark, is one of the primary characters of The Bad Guys book series. He was a member of the now dissolved Good Guys Club, and was a part of Shadow Squad G.
Biography[]
Appearance[]
Mr. Shark is an anthropomorphic Great white shark who mainly wears a suit with pants that have one open end to fit his tail. Throughout the books he wears a variety of different disguises based on living or non living things. Once becoming an Underlord, he simply wears a cloak, has a pair of horns, and loses visible pupils.
Personality[]
Despite exhibiting a scary and tough interior, by the end of Episode 1, Lou reveals his more sensitive side to his fellow friends. He tries his best to maintain control of his fear of spiders as seen by his first interaction with Legs in Episode 2. Lou is always willing to help out his fellow companions by allowing to disguise himself when needed.
Abilities[]
Shape-shifting[]
Due to the time-travel anomaly in Do-You-Think-He-Saurus?,Shark was able to shape-shift into any animal or object, although they would have Shark’s face and fin located somewhere. At first, he was unable to control such and would involuntarily shape-shift, but training helped him harness this superpower. However, this ability would be removed by Marmalade’s cannon by the end of The Big Bad Wolf.
Corruption Inducement[]
By playing a pair of drums, Shark is able to brainwash anyone and corrupt them into becoming an Underlord.
Levitation[]
Another ability acquired from the Underlords, Shark is able to levitate wherever he pleases.

- According to Aaron Blabey, Shark was inspired by the film Jaws, with the books even alluding he’s the same shark from the film.
- Lou's case number is 666 85E.[1]
- Despite being a shark, Lou is able to live on land with his reasoning being "I'll be wherever I want."[2]
